Upon graduation from high school, Stephen Davis received a senate appointment to
West Point and a Navy ROTC scholarship to Texas A&M. He declined the appointment
to West Point because of his preference to serve in the US Marines.
After 2 years at A&M he quit school because he and a friend were running a
successful hamburger delivery business and wanted to expand to Houston. Unable
to reach their financial goals after 2 years, they quit and went into corporate
America. After 4 years he found that nothing about having a job would ever get
him to his family and financial goals.
He then convinced a real estate investor friend that he would run his real
estate investor and mentor group in return for being mentored in real estate.
Over the next 15 years, their students bought over 300 apartment complexes and
over 10,000 single-family houses across the United States.
With the guidance of his mentor and friend, Del Walmsley, Mr. Davis retired from
corporate America at age 27 and began a successful investing career in real
estate.
While a student at Lifestyles Unlimited, Mr. Davis completed his first deal
within 2 months and in an 18 month period purchased 17 multifamily properties
(6-40 units).
For the last 15 years, he has helped teach and mentor thousands of Houstonians
on how to use real estate to build wealth while focusing on maintaining a
balanced life.
He has been married for over 20 years and has 2 academically outstanding
children aged 16 and 13.
Today, he is a principle in over 3000 units in Houston and builds luxury homes
in Galveston. He also volunteers as a mentor at Lifestyles Unlimited, Inc. and
hosts the "Lifestyles Unlimited's Real Estate Investor Radio Show" in 4 major
cities across Texas.
